Alex Charalambous

Alex has an undergraduate degree in Sport Therapy (2019) from the University of Gloucestershire, after spending a year in the sport industry with Cheltenham Town football club Alex undertook a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (2020) at Manchester Metropolitan University during which he gained experience working in the NHS through his core rotation placements – this included working across various specialities including outpatients Musculoskeletal, Paediatric ICU, Community Learning disabilities as well as A&E. Before joining Kensington Physio & Sport Medicine Alex was working within the private physiotherapy sector as well as still being involved with local sports clubs in South London.

Alex is comfortable in treating a variety of patient types – from amateur athletes to desk-based office workers and everything in between. Having a background in Sport Therapy and experience working within the sport industry has allowed Alex to be adept in diagnosing and treating a range of sport injuries as well as developing bespoke rehabilitation programmes for his patients. His passion for sport as well as leading an active lifestyle drives him to help his patients achieve their goals and have an overall improvement in their own lifestyle. 

Alex likes to lead a healthy lifestyle and keeps active through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, going to the gym as well as running. Having a Greek/Cypriot background in his free time Alex likes to explore the Greek/Cypriot cuisine around London.
