Gary Faber

Chartered Physiotherapist, BSC, HCPC, MCSP

Gary holds a BSC in Physiotherapy (Hons) from Brunel University, and is currently a member of both the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the HCPC. He is Qualified to carry out stitching and suturing, dry needling, Strength and Conditioning in athletic performance (level3) & sports massage.

Gary is currently the Senior Medical team Physiotherapist at The England National Amputee football team. Previously holding the role of Head Physiotherapist at Gillingham FC in the EFL, and also held a role as a 1st team physiotherapist at Charlron Athletic FC.

Gary is both vastly skilled and experienced in his field, with over 15 years experience within the NHS as a Senior MSK physio, additionally specialising in paediatrics, hydrotherapy, and amputee rehabilitation, with a further 12 years within Professional Football from academy age groups level right through to 1st team, with Charlton Athletic as well as West Ham United FC, and Gillingham FC amongst his previous employers.

Externally he has worked privately on film and fashion sets, for various high level clients such as Nike, Zara, ITV and BT sports providing medical cover to cast and crew. As well as for private sports events, including international tournaments and tours, and feels the experiences through he’s career allow him to offers a rounded approach to tackle all physio related issues.

Clinical interests include human biomechanics, athletic performance, manual therapy, the education of specific protocols to clients, the formulation of functional rehabilitation plans and applying strength and conditioning priniciples to athletes and the general public. He is a big believer in client collaboration to achieve the best outcomes. He also enjoys assisting and empowering parents in creating an elite base for youngsters to build from, and offering general population a professional journey and experience with their health.
