The objective of the Kinnective IASTM courses is to teach InstrumentAssisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) techniques. Whether youare a therapist with an injured patient or a trainer who’s client needsmore range of movement through various areas of their body thistechnique will enhance your current clinical practice. The principal behind the Kinnective philosophy has been to stayabreast of the current scientific developments underpinning therationale for IASTM and to continually develop and take the methodforward in light of the new science. Through listening to feedbackfrom practitioners and clinicians over the past few years the team atKinnective came to realise that there was an un-met need for adifferent way to become trained in IASTM. This has driven thedevelopment of a training system that delivers good value, aversatile instrument at a realistic price and the ability to run coursesin several different ways – through in-house training or open CPDwith a transparent structure of fixed costs.Kinnective is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization(IASTM) that enables clinicians to effectively break down scartissue, fascial restrictions and adhesions and change muscle tonus. The technique utilizes a specifically designed stainless steelinstrument which is used to both assess and treat areas exhibitingsoft tissue dysfunction. By the end of the course participants shouldbe able to correctly identify and treat soft tissue dysfunctions thatare amenable to treatment through the use of this modality.
