Plantarfascia: Struggling to get out of bed?

Cold Winter Months

In these cold winter mornings are you struggling to get out of bed? Yes everyone is! But is it because you are in pain for the first few minutes of walking – pain in your heel/foot?
Plantar fasciitis affects many of us and one of the main symptoms is pain with those first few steps in the morning or if you have sat in a meeting for a few hours and then get up.
Plantar fasciitis is condition that can be treated effectively if addressed as soon as possible. Our Physiotherapists at Kensington Physio and Sports Medicine are able to offer a hands on treatment and advice with foot wear and exercises to STOP that morning pain and stiffness.

Treatment

Trigger points in the calf and hamstring and even gluteals can be released by physiotherapists and many people will notice an immediate change in their pain and tightness. Acupuncture can also be helpful to release trigger points – and then the physiotherapist can give you the correct loading exercise program to get you back to your full activity pain free.
Contact our team for me help and make your mornings less painful!
